Well, that for me best describes Legend Villas’ Lola Maria Restaurant. Compared with other buffet, Lola Maria’s excellence really shows the meaning of why quality is better than quantity. They may not have as many choices compared with the other buffet restaurants but what they have are more than enough when it comes to satisfying the palate. The foods are simply wonderful. Kudos to the chef who we did not meet but had the pleasure of sampling his wonderfully delightful masterpieces. Truly, he is one of the few chefs in the Philippines who can elevate cooking into an art form.

The staff/waiters equally deserve our compliments. What more can I say except that they treat their customers like kings! Jasper and Jay deserve commendations with the way they made us feel so welcome and the way they cater to our whims. It is a pleasure to find restaurant staff that seem to have sixth sense in knowing (and giving) what patrons need. And that is where Jasper and Jay showed their excellence. Let me say thank you once again, you both certainly deserve (and got) our respect.

I will have to make this review short because you simply have to try it, but having lunch at Legend Villas’ Lola Maria, I was reminded of why in life, more is just more. That it all comes down to the quality – the quality of relationship you have with your family and not how many relatives you have and the quality of friends that you have and now how many they are.

Considering that Melissa and I are night persons and cannot fully appreciate anything until the sun sets, let me just say again that Lola Maria may not have as many food choices but what they have are simply the best. Sarap ng luto!
