This blog is long overdue because this was during the Chinese New Year this year. Anyway, better late than never, especially since I found this restaurant to be worth my P199 and I want to share this to those who are looking for a very affordable and satisfying eat-all-you-can resto. Well, yes, first, for a buffet the P199 is really worth it. The menu of course, is limited: Nido Soup, Chicken Chow Mien, Yang Chow Fried Rice, Fish in Tausi, Lemon Chicken, Chicken Feet, Sweetened Pork Belly, Chop Suey, Dumplings and Marshmallows for dessert. But hey, if you want more for your P199 you are looking for a miracle not a good place to eat.

So my friend and I went there around 5pm and saw their sign. Cheapskates that we are we first asked what they have and saw the menu. They are quite appetizing and for the dumplings alone, we knew that we will have our money’s worth. Hey, we love Dimsum 'n Dumplings’s all-you-can-eat siomai in Greenhills for P120. Go Fan definitely has more to offer.

So we returned at 6pm and proceeded to the buffet table. Since the menu is limited we tried everything. The Yang Chow Fried Rice was a treat, as well as the Chicken Chow Mein and the Chop Suey. The Lemon Chicken, Fish in Tausi, Sweetened Pork Belly are also good but not as good as what you have in other Chinese restaurant. The dumplings are the same as what you can get from other ordinary Chinese resto but far from Gloria Maris’. The marshmallow, well that is a treat in itself. My friend Camel, said it was marshmallow but I thought it was some kind of Chinese rice cake. It is cut into rectangles and the color is orange and white. The taste is really good and not the typical marshmallow. It taste more like the white of Brazo de Mercedes but less sweet and there is something else which also tastes good. The texture is not something your palate is accustomed to. You just have to try it. If you have kids with you, they will surely love this and will keep them on their seats while you enjoy your meal.

All in all, Go Fan will let you enjoy a superb Chinese meal for only P199. Will definitely go back there with Camel, and next time with other friends.
