Good Friday in Manila

Traditionally here in Malabon, Manila Philippines we celebrate the Holy Week with different church activities. I failed to get pictures of people on acts of self-flaggelation (sorry guys). But I was able to get pictures of the traditional Good Friday ritual burial of Christ which i think is more important because it reminds us of Christ dying on the cross so that we may all be saved from our sins.

It is also a good way of reminding us of how short life is. Someone once said that we are all dying the moment we were born. How true this is... Even Christ died young. This tells us that life is nothing but a time of test - a test as to whether we are meant to enter the Kingdom of God. So my brothers and sisters, try to see life as one of those examinations we used to take in school. Are we going to pass?
